We extend our fervent prayer and love to promote healing, and hope that your fondest memories sustain you during this most difficult of times. This is a great loss for Lynn, and for his huge family, and for so many people who he clearly impacted so positively. 40 years ago, I still have very fond memories of our time together. Mike was a great guy and even though I have not seen him since I moved from Mass. I first met Mike at a very young age playing baseball (and then with his brother Chris). May Mike's smile and giving ways shine down on his family, friends and future athletes. I have known Mike and Lynn since Clarksburg to McCann two of the nicest, loving, most sincere people you could ever meet. Our deepest sympathy and prayers are with you all. Mike also leaves behind a large extended family and friends he called family. As well as his loyal hunting dog, Willow. His beloved grandchildren Rylin, Brogan, Jackson, Owen, Alexis, Logan, Aria, Lily, Banks, Rune, Viva and Walker. Siblings Donna Roberts, Chris Larabee, Kenneth Larabee Jr., and Deborah Rock. Sons, Matt Larabee and wife Amy of Adams, Ryan Larabee and wife Caitlin of Cheshire, Dalton Larabee and wife Emily of Worthington, Jesse Larabee and wife Noelle of Adams. Daughter, Kayli Manning and husband Trevor of Cheshire. Mike is survived by his wife, Lynn Larabee of Cheshire. His greatest role in life was being “Pa”. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family. He has impacted thousands of kids over the years. He coached Adams and Cheshire youth sports, as well as Hoosac Valley Athletics for over four decades. Outside his family, Mike’s other love was coaching sports. In recent years, he discovered a joy in hunting, farming, and gardening on his farm, O’lo Creek Farm.

He was his happiest when he was fishing on his beloved bass boat, or teaching his grandchildren how to cast. If you knew Mike, you knew he had a passion for fishing. He was self-employed and co-owned Cheshire Auto with his brother, Chris Larabee. Their love was the true definition of soulmates. Michael married his wife of 41 years, the former Lynn Lewitt on December 5, 1981. Born in North Adams, MA on Novemto Kenneth and Theresa Lanois Larabee, he was a graduate of McCann Technical High School. Michael “Mike” Andrew Larabee, 62 of Cheshire, passed away Masuddenly at home.
